Letter to Yourself

Have you ever written a letter to yourself?

Letter to Yourself

It is a tool I use with my coaching clients and although I have done it before, I am not in the habit of doing it often for myself. But another coach once said to me “The shoemaker goes barefoot.” In other words, while helping others, we often forget to help ourselves. So this week I wrote a letter to myself. I read it to someone and they thought it would be helpful for you to read it. So if you would like to see my example so that you can write a letter to yourself, read on.

My Letter to Self

Dear Fiona,

I am so proud of you!

This week you have been sight-reading Chopin’s Nocturne Op 9 No 2 and will soon learn how to play it.
You created “Confidence, Courage and Clarity” in your coaching with T***. Then in your coaching with J***, you created 6 ways to celebrate yourself.
You have already made the flyer for CCC and the worksheet for your Self Coaching Meeting. Yesterday you even had your first Self Coaching Meeting. And that means you will be having a take-away tonight!
Your coaching exchanges with T*** and D*** are going well and they have expressed their gratitude. You used your magic glasses and magic doorknob with T***.
While on holiday back in the UK you have managed to continued doing your coaching.
You have been getting more and more courageous! For example, you offered coaching to B*** and P***, both of whom you have had issues with in the past.
When you posted your tracking report, both T*** and J*** made these incredible comments. T*** said: “WOW! Fiona you are on fire! Way to step out of the comfort zone and into your innate greatness! I’m excited for you!”
J*** said: “THIS IS INCREDIBLE! I am so happy for you and us! Wow, I admire you to the moon! Seriously, just so good! It’s incredible how you take action and just keep busting through any limitations. You are one of the most incredible people I have ever met. Straight up! For realz!!!”
It is wonderful to be in this supportive community of coaches.
And it’s amazing to see your progress since wanting to start an online business at the start of 2021. Now, 7 courses later, you are an awesome life and relationship coach and are well on your way to having a solid business. Tell that to the boys who used to hit you at school!! More importantly, tell that to the skinny little girl in her dishevelled 3rd hand school uniform.

A million hugs,

Fiona
